Our Team
Our team is made up of 5 young students with a passion for charity. We are all students at ESCP Business-School and we met on the London campus.
We got together and set up this small team with a specific goal in mind: to help Tamarin's 'Angels of the Sun' NGO in Mauritius.
To do this we decided to create a tombola in order to raise funds and finance the education of young Mauritians in need.
The Project
Our project is carried out with the NGO 'Angels of the sun' in Tamarin.
This NGO finance the accessibility of young Mauritian children from a disadvantaged social background to an education different by enrolling them in schools "outside the Mauritian system" (private English-speaking schools or French-speaking schools), which provides them a quality of education and schooling far superior of the classical Mauritian system and the advantage of social mix.
Our aim is therefore to be able to collect funds which will then be given back to the NGO so that it can continue to finance children's schooling.
The tombola
The raffle will be used to raise funds to support the education of its young people.
You can buy tickets for 2 euros and have a chance to win a painting worth 1250 euros.
One ticket bought will fund an extra day of education for a young Mauritian in need.
The whole profit will be donated to the NGO.
At the end of the fundraising, we will organize a draw to announce the winner. Depending on the covid situation, this will occur in the NGO's centre in Tamarin and/or live on online platforms.
